The Nursery Growers of Lake County Ohio, Inc. was formed in 1927 for "the improvement of trade education within the world-famous nursery center of Lake County, Ohio. Our Association continues to help nursery and supplier members address current issues and speak with one voice, here in the "Heart of the Nursery Industry".

Our speaker for the evening program will be Linda Silakoski, Esq. Painesville, Ohio. She will share the issues pertinent to you and to the Department of Labor (DOL) and H2A. Even if you are just thinking about H2A , it is likely to be substantially impacted by comprehensive immigration reform, so she'll present information on the proposals before Congress as well. We will also have Mike Davis of Davis Tree & Nursery there to share his experiences with the DOL inspections and what he has learned this past year. Pablo Nunez of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services may be joining us as well! You don't want to miss this information-packed presentation!

NGLCO Maps- The 2010 edition of the nursery map is printed and in! If you would like to pick up some to keep at your office, stop in at Gilson Gardens to get them. There are a few unfolded maps available, but quantities are limited, so be sure to get those soon.
