Year round enjoyment is provided by this unique living museum. The Holden Arboretum is a 3,500 acre preserve of natural woodlands; documented horticultural collections, emphasizing the woody plants appropriate to the climatic zones of northeast Ohio. Directions: I-90 to Mentor-Kirtland exit (#193). Turn south on Rt 306 to the bottom of the hill. Turn left onto Kirtland-Chardon Rd. Travel 3.6 miles to Sperry Rd. Turn left onto Sperry Rd. travel 1.4 miles, turn left to Visitor Center.
